Website Usage

When you open a public page we record which page you opened, the page that referred you here, your browser's user agent, your IP address, the time, and how long the page was open when you left. Visits belonging to the same browsing session are linked using a one-way hash of the session identifier rather than the identifier itself, so the record cannot be used to take over your session. We do not resolve your IP address to a location, we do not link these records to anything you submit through a form, and we do not use them to follow you to other websites.

We may also process technical information necessary to operate and secure the website, as described in our Cookie Policy. That storage is limited to what is needed to run the site, such as your session and your quotation selections. We also record your cookie preference choice on our server so that we can show it was made.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

  • Responding to contact enquiries.
  • Preparing and communicating quotations.
  • Processing sample-kit requests and arranging delivery.
  • Communicating about submitted requests.
  • Maintaining business records where necessary.
  • Protecting the website and preventing misuse.
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We will not use personal information submitted for these purposes for unrelated promotional communications without an appropriate lawful basis.

How Enquiries and Requests Reach Us

A submitted enquiry, quotation request or sample-kit request is stored on our server and emailed to the responsible mailbox for that request type. Contact enquiries go to the address configured in our contact settings, and quotation requests go to our procurement team. We use an email delivery service to send these notifications, so the relevant email provider processes your details in order to deliver them. Every request is also visible to authorised staff in our internal admin area, which is restricted to accounts belonging to staff.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share relevant personal information with service providers where necessary to process your request. Depending on the service requested, these may include:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Email service providers.
  • Courier and delivery providers.
  • Professional advisers or authorities where legally required.

We limit sharing to information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration and disclosure. These include restricting administrative access to authorised staff accounts, validating all submitted form input on the server, and using an encrypted connection where the site is served over HTTPS. Submission of any form is protected by a cross-site request forgery token.

However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or other sensitive personal information through our forms or by email.

6. Data Retention

Submitted enquiries, quotation requests and sample-kit requests are kept as business records for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet applicable legal and accounting requirements, including GST and tax record-keeping. The retention period therefore depends on the nature of the request and any resulting business transaction.

Product selections held in your browser for a quotation are kept only in your own browser and are cleared automatically if you do not change them for 24 hours. They reach our servers only when you submit the quotation form, after which they form part of the quotation record above.

Website session data expires after 2 hours of inactivity. Website usage records are deleted after 90 days. Records of your cookie preference choice, which consist only of the choice itself, your IP address and the time, are kept for 24 months as our evidence that the choice was made.

When personal information is no longer required for those purposes, we delete or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable law.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you may have rights to:

  • Obtain information about the processing of your personal data.
  • Request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate personal data.
  • Request erasure of personal data where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Raise a grievance concerning the handling of your personal data.
  • Exercise applicable nomination rights.

To submit a request, please contact [email protected]. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before processing your request. Certain information may need to be retained where required by law, for example records we must keep for tax purposes.

Your cookie preference choice is remembered in a first-party cookie in your own browser for 24 hours, so you can change or remove it directly using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer or through your browser settings. Separately, we keep a record of the choice on our server — the choice, your IP address and the time — for 24 months, as evidence that the choice was made. If you ask us to delete that record we will do so, unless we need it to demonstrate consent already given.

8. Cookies and Browser Storage

Our website uses a small number of essential cookies and browser storage, which we use to operate the site, keep your session working, hold your quotation selections and remember your cookie preference. We also keep our own first-party record of which pages are opened and how long they are read, so that we can tell which parts of the site are useful; we do not use third-party analytics or advertising tracking. We also load fonts, and where configured, maps and product video, from third-party services. For full details, including the 24 hour lifetime of your cookie preference, please read our Cookie Policy.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for business and professional enquiries. We do not intentionally seek personal information from children. Where applicable law requires parental consent for processing a child's personal data, we will follow the relevant requirements.

10. International Data Processing

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, and where configured, maps from Google Maps and product video from YouTube or Vimeo. These providers receive your IP address and browser details when their content loads. Our email delivery provider and our web hosting provider may also process information outside India. Where our service providers process information outside India, we will handle such processing in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, processing activities or applicable law. The updated policy will be published on this page with its revision date.
