PRAJWAL POLYPLAST
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites may store on your device to support functionality, remember preferences and maintain website sessions. This policy also covers similar browser storage technologies, such as local storage.
2. Cookies We Set
We set three first-party cookies. Each is strictly necessary for the website to operate and cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality or losing a preference you set.
prajwal-polyplast-session
Maintains your session while you browse the site, so that form entries, validation messages and the administrator login work correctly. It is not readable by JavaScript and expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
XSRF-TOKEN
A security token that protects our forms against cross-site request forgery. It is refreshed on each visit and expires after 2 hours. It is readable by JavaScript by design, so that the site can attach it to form submissions.
pp_consent
Remembers the cookie preference you chose, so the notice does not appear again on every page. It is a first-party cookie with a 24 hour lifetime, set with Max-Age=86400, so it survives closing the tab and is dropped by your browser after a day. It contains only your choice (Accept All or Reject Optional), the date you made it, and the version of our notice. It never contains your name, contact details, form entries or quotation contents. It is readable by JavaScript, because the notice reads and writes it in your browser.
3. Other Browser Storage We Use
rfq_cart and rfq_cart_meta
Your Request for Quotation basket is saved in your browser's local storage under the names rfq_cart and rfq_cart_meta, so that your product selections survive a page reload. The selections stay in your browser and are not sent to us until you submit the quotation form. If you do not add, remove or change a selection for 24 hours, the saved selections and their timestamp are cleared automatically, so a quotation cannot be submitted from a stale basket. You can remove this storage at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
4. Consent Notice
Because we use essential storage only, a short notice appears on public pages until you choose Accept All or Reject Optional. Both choices leave the website working exactly as described above, because there are no optional third-party analytics or marketing technologies for either choice to switch on or off.
Your choice is remembered for 24 hours in the pp_consent cookie described above. After that, or if you delete that cookie, the notice appears again. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page, which reopens the same notice and shows your current selection. A new choice replaces the previous one and restarts the 24 hour window. We also record the choice on our server — the choice, your IP address and the time — and keep that record for 24 months as evidence that a choice was made.
If JavaScript is disabled or the site's scripts fail to load, the notice is still displayed so that you can see which storage is in use, but the Accept All and Reject Optional buttons cannot record a choice and no preference is stored. In that case the notice reappears on your next visit. The website still functions, because the storage it relies on is essential rather than optional.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies ourselves. However, parts of the site load content from third-party providers, which means those providers receive your IP address and browser details when the content loads. This is not a cookie set by us, but it is part of how the page works, so we list it here.
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) — supplies the typeface on every page.
- Google Maps (google.com) — shows our location on the Contact page, where a map embed has been configured.
- YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com and img.youtube.com) — supplies the thumbnail for a product demonstration video and the player when you choose to play it. Product video is optional: a product with no video link simply has no player.
- Vimeo (player.vimeo.com) — an alternative host for product video where a product uses a Vimeo link, under the same conditions as YouTube.
6. Analytics and Advertising
We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or any other third-party analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking technology. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising and we do not sell personal information.
We do measure our own website first party. When a public page opens we record the page, the page that referred you here, your browser's user agent, your IP address, the time, and how long the page was open when you left. We do not resolve your IP address to a location, we do not link these records to anything you submit through a form, and we do not use them to follow you to other websites. These records are deleted after 90 days. The consent notice controls third-party technologies only, so neither choice changes this first-party measurement.
There are therefore no advertising or third-party analytics cookies for the consent notice to control, and choosing Reject Optional does not reduce any functionality, because no optional third-party technology is in use. If we introduce third-party analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking in future, we will update this policy and reassess what consent is required before deploying it.
7. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear the local storage this site uses for your quotation basket. Disabling essential cookies will affect the functionality of the contact, quotation, sample-kit and administrator login forms, and deleting the pp_consent cookie means the consent notice will appear again on your next visit.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if our website functionality or cookie usage changes. The current version is dated at the top of this page.
